Start with the people
Enter the company name and address, the company signatory and the candidate’s name. A job title for the signatory and the candidate’s address are optional.
Company contact details appear only when provided. The candidate’s email is for your records; it is not printed in the letter.
Describe the position
Add the job title, employment type and work arrangement. Choose in-office, hybrid or remote, and include the workplace or remote-work details where relevant.
You can add a department, responsibilities, expected hours and schedule. Temporary roles and internships can also include an expected end date.
Make compensation clear
Choose hourly pay or a salary. For salaries, state whether the amount is per year or per month, then select the payment frequency separately.
For example, a $52,000 annual salary paid biweekly is different from a $52,000 monthly salary. Check both the amount and salary basis. Add bonus or commission arrangements only if they form part of the offer. The base pay guide explains how the agreed rate differs from gross and net pay.
Review the wording, section by section
Choose Concise & welcoming or Detailed & structured. In Review, expand Customize the wording to edit individual sections or restore the suggested text.
Design changes preserve your custom wording. If you change the role, dates or compensation later, review your edited paragraphs again: they are not automatically rewritten. Use your company’s reviewed terms rather than assuming a template covers every requirement.
Choose a design that feels like your company
Essential uses traditional paragraphs. Modern groups the role and compensation into summaries. Executive uses formal numbered sections. Letterhead pairs your company identity with coordinated artwork.
All four support six accent colors, three fonts and three text sizes. Add a PNG or JPG logo, choose a company-signature option and include a footer if needed. Larger text or longer content can increase the page count.
Check the finished letter
Review names, job title, dates, work arrangements, compensation and any additional terms. Leave optional details blank when you do not want them included.
The screen preview updates as you work. Complete the required fields to open a watermarked PDF preview and check page breaks, the logo, signatures and any footer. The completed PDF has no PREVIEW watermark.
